CSD
The Correctional Services Department (CSD) is a government department committed to the safe custody, rehabilitation, and reintegration of offenders into society. Each year, it publishes an annual report to highlight its achievements and key metrics.
Project Goals
Since the CSD annual report website was outdated, it needed a modern overhaul to better communicate its mission and achievements to the public. This project aimed to:
Modernize the Website
Introduce a bold and minimalist brutalist aesthetic.
Enhance Engagement
Improve accessibility and visual appeal to attract public interest.
Create Mobile-Friendly Design
Ensure usability across all devices, particularly for mobile users.

Takeaways from the Project
Think outside the box
This pitch allowed me to explore the integration of bold design trends (like brutalism) in formal, content-heavy projects. I learned the importance of tailoring innovative ideas to suit specific industries while balancing creativity with usability. This experience sharpened my ability to articulate and defend design choices in a professional context.
